Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time, day shift position located at 1771 Baptist Clay Dr, Fleming Island.

In this role you will assist Registered Nurses in the ED, help with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, collect lab specimens, monitor intake and output, and document in the electronic medical record under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA required.
• Associate degree preferred.

Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our Emergency Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.

Assists Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily healthcare needs. Responsibilities include supporting activities of daily living, maintaining a safe patient environment, collecting lab specimens, monitoring intake and output, and documenting in the electronic medical record. Works under the supervision of an RN to help ensure quality patient care and efficient Emergency Department operations.

Emergency Department Technician Job Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
• Maintaining a safe environment.
• Collecting lab specimens.
• Intake and Output monitoring.
• Electronic medical record documentation.
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
