Job summary

Baptist Health in Clay, Fleming Island, FL is hiring an Emergency Department Technician for a full-time night shift. You will assist Registered Nurses with patient care, daily living activities, and maintaining a safe environment, while collecting lab specimens and documenting in the electronic medical record.

Under RN supervision, you will help ensure quality patient care and efficient Emergency Department operations. Required are a High School Diploma, BLS, and EMT or CNA licensure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate of Arts/Science is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• EMT or CNA license required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
• Maintaining a safe environment.
• Collecting lab specimens.
• Intake and Output monitoring.
• Electronic medical record documentation.
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
