Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in Homer Glen, IL is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the nursing process under a Registered Nurse. The role requires a CNA or EMT-B license and CPR, with ER experience preferred and strong communication and computer skills.

The position is full-time for night shifts (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends and holidays, based in the Emergency Department at the Homer Glen Free Standing Emergency Room. Benefits and market-based pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA or EMT-B license.
• CPR.
• Previous ER experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast pace environment.
• Must be organized, have excellent communication and customer service skills, great computer skills, must use proper phone etiquette and knowledgeable with Medical Terminology.
