Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in Homer Glen, IL is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for night shift (7p-7a) in the Free Standing ED. The role supports nursing care under an RN, with rotations and benefits for full-time staff.

Requires CNA or EMT-B certification, CPR, and strong communication and computer skills. Ideal candidates have prior ER experience and a compassionate patient-care approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA or EMT-B license.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous ER experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; proficient in computer use; knowledge of Medical Terminology.
