Job summary

You will provide patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and perform tasks from vital signs to clerical duties while maintaining safety and quality of care.

Requires a high school diploma and current BLS; NH EMT or LNA license is acceptable. Prioritization and excellent communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary ED team.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current.
• NH EMT with NH Providers License or NH LNA; EMT or LNA required, not both.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and operational support in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with activities of daily living and obtain clinical data including vital signs and EKGs.
• Utilize universal precautions and record results in the medical record.
• Apply splints and immobilizers; manage IVs under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and restock supplies.
• Assist visitors and family; mentor new staff.
• Monitor patients requiring close observation; maintain safety.
• Perform clerical duties and manage health information in EMR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
