Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Exeter Hospital ED seeks dedicated staff to provide direct patient care and support across triage, critical care, trauma, emergency and MECU settings. A high school diploma or GED is required, with EMT/EMS or CNA licensure and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Strong communication and patient-service focus are essential. You will assist with vital signs, blood draws, glucose checks, and IV or monitoring tasks, while ensuring supplies are stocked and areas

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Nationally Registered EMT/A or NH EMS Provider's license OR NH Nursing Assistant license required.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care including obtaining vital signs, blood draws, glucose testing and monitoring.
• Order and maintain adequate supplies for ED, stock triage and patient care areas.
• Assist with patient flow, preparation for exams, and transportation to imaging or other departments.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs as needed and orient new staff.
• May initiate IV therapy if EMT-Advanced certified.
