Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, OH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in a high-volume, 24/7 setting.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, with delegation to licensed personnel as needed. Evening shift, 36 hours per week, with commitment to safety and quality in a high reliability organization.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio and/or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association.
• BSN required within 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments for the population or individual.
• Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Actively participate in safety, quality, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Provide care in an acute, 24/7 department within the Emergency Department.
