Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role provides general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 setting with an evening shift and a 36-hour scheduled week.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs as allowed by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. BSN is required after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and reevaluates plan of care.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve clinical quality and patient care.
• Operations - Performs department duties as required.
