Job summary

Freeman Health System in Freeman, SD, is seeking a Hospital Supervisor to provide leadership during assigned shifts, oversee hospital operations, and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

This role acts as the administrative point of contact after hours, coordinates patient flow, staffing, emergencies, and ensures compliance with policies and regulatory standards for clinical and non-clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred
• 1-2 years of related experience required
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred
• RN license for practicing state; BLS and ACLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership during assigned shifts to oversee hospital operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Act as the administrative point of contact during non-business hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Coordinate patient flow, manage staffing, address emergencies, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
