Advocate Health’s Atrium Health Kannapolis Emergency Department is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join a 24-hour ED team. The role supports high-quality, evidence-based care for all ages, with emphasis on safe patient outcomes and efficient flow.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program, NC RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 6 months ED/critical care experience preferred. Schedule features weekends 11a–11p, 24 hours per week, with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
