Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice as an RN in Iowa.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• Surgical Assistant position requires CNOR or RNFA certification.
• Must read, speak, and write fluent English.
• Ability to learn and navigate hospital computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and plan individualized patient care.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Lead and mentor department staff as appropriate.
• Participate in perioperative and emergency patient care activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to standards of care.
