Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for its Emergency Department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with a day-evening shift from 11:00am to 11:00pm, and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses.

The ED serves 26 beds around the clock with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by care techs and paramedics. Mercy offers Day-One benefits, tuition reimbursement, and retirement matching, along with shift differentials and a weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days).
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Maintain Mercy Service Standards and professional accountability.
• Support a 26-bed ED with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and collaborate with care team.
