Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a full-time basis (36 hrs/week, 11:00am–11:00pm). The role requires an active RN license and ACLS/BLS certification, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and collaboration with paramedics and care techs.

Eligible nurses may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, tuition reimbursement, day-one benefits, and a weekend differential of $20/hour. Mercy also offers Stay Premium, PTO, and retirement matching benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact)
• ACLS and BLS certifications, or within 30 days
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
• Must live within 45 minutes of Mercy Hospital Washington
• Emergency Department experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed ED serving 24/7
• Coordinate care with nursing and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Support a fast-paced, high-quality patient experience
