Mercy South Emergency Department in St. Louis seeks a Graduate Nurse Residency RN to deliver patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Missouri RN license (or compact licensure) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
