Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED in Fowler, California. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Preferred BSN and acute care experience, with active RN licensure in California and required certifications (BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in California is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS, PALS or ARC-PALS, NRP or ARC-NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group following established standards and nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates duties and coordinates the responsibilities of the health care team.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
