Job summary

Adventist Health Reedley is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care and supervise nursing staff in a 49-bed acute care facility. You will collaborate with the care team and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements include RN licensure in California, CPR/BLS, and ACLS/PALS per AH policy. BSN is preferred, with acute care experience a plus. Join a faith-based system serving the Central Valley since 2011.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
• CPR/BLS certification required by AH policy: Required
• BLS certification required by AH policy: Required
• ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff at various levels.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
