Job summary

The Staff Pad is assisting in recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Las Vegas, NM. This PRN role requires flexibility across day and night shifts and rapid assessment and triage for acutely ill patients.

You will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, coordinate treatment plans, and uphold hospital policies while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. RN licensure in NM and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN)
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico
• Current CPR certification; PALS and ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care
• Assess patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions
• Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
• Precept new staff and support LPN and CNA team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold standards
• Perform RN, Patient Care Technician, and Unit Coordinator duties as needed
