Qualifications

• Current Nevada RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 year Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patient status.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Respond appropriately in high-pressure and emergent situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families regarding care, discharge instructions, and follow-up.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and emotional support at all times.
