Madisonhealth in Rexburg, ID is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a PRN basis. The RN plans, coordinates, and implements patient care tailored to age and needs, maintaining safety and quality in line with unit standards while adapting to changing systems.

The role requires graduate of accredited nursing program, Idaho RN license, BLS/HCP, ACLS, and PALS, plus strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintains current RN license within the state of Idaho.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Proven ability to coordinate nursing tasks and staffing.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

The Registered Nurse [RN] plans, coordinates, and implements patient care specific to the age and needs of the patient population served in the Emergency Department. S/he ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care, while remaining flexible to changing systems and procedures. S/he is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice, foster open communications and treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.

Schedule:

• Variable Shifts
• Four shifts a month

Required Skills

• 1. Knowledgeable in Medical Terminology.
• 2. Communication skills are essential.
• 3. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS HCP).
• 4. Current Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 5. Current Pediatric Acute Life Support (PALS).
• 6. Ability to manage, coordinate and direct nurses in administrative tasks.
• 7. Possess good interpersonal skills so that they can communicate with the patients and the staff.
• 8. Ability to problem solve and be enthusiastic enough to accept day to day work challenges.
• 9. Understand and have a profound knowledge of all the medications and equipment in the department.
• 10. Possess ability to coordinate multiple tasks at a time while setting priorities.
• 11. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and basic Windows based programs
• 1. One (1) year preferred.
