Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team in Plainsboro, NJ. This Per Diem role offers a 7:00 am to 7:00 pm shift.

RNs will assess and plan care for patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions, coordinate with ED staff, and ensure safe medication administration and patient transitions across shifts. Requires NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and BSN (or in progress).

Qualifications

• Active NJ Registered Nurse License (Required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (Required).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN - required or in pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in the Emergency Department with time-sensitive medical needs.
• Establish a therapeutic plan of care and communicate it to the care team.
• Collaborate with ED providers to ensure safe, continuous patient care.
