Job summary

UC Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at West Chester Hospital on the second shift. The RN will support the ER and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care based on assessed needs and established standards.

Qualifications include an active OH RN license, associate degree minimum, BSN preferred, and 2 years ED/ICU experience preferred. West Chester Hospital offers a Level III trauma center and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate's Degree minimum; BSN preferred.
• Current OH RN License; 2 years ED or ICU/CC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises, and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels of staff and prioritizes care based on assessment.
• Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment and involves family in care.
• Identifies needs from behavioral health or cultural norms and adjusts care accordingly.
• Mentors new staff and supports the unit's professional development.
