Job summary

UC Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) night shift at West Chester Hospital in Ohio. The ED team cares for trauma and critical care patients within a Level III trauma center.

The ideal candidate will hold an OH RN license, have an associates degree (BSN preferred), and bring 2 years of ED or ICU experience or a strong critical care background. West Chester Hospital emphasizes work-life balance and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current OH RN License.
• 2 years ED or ICU/Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN holds a current state license to practice nursing and uses nursing knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Communicates care plan to all levels of staff and prioritizes care based on patient needs.
• Provides patient and family instructions regarding treatment and involves family in assessment and continuing care.
• Acts as resource and mentor for new personnel and staff on the unit.
