Job summary

The Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. in Northampton, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide patient care using the nursing process. This position operates on a rotating night shift from 7:00pm to 7:30am, with weekends and holidays rotations.

The RN will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, follow clinical standards, and participate in ongoing professional development within the Mass General Brigham system.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire/transfer
• De-escalation certification required within 60 days
• PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate all nursing care with other professionals to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Triage patients and provide ongoing assessment, interventions and discharge teaching.
