Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. in Northampton, MA is seeking an Emergency Registered Nurse to deliver care in a fast-paced ED. The role reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and works with a multidisciplinary team to assess, triage, and treat patients, following established nursing standards.

Shift 7:00am–7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays; onsite position with 36 hours per week; Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS/ACLS within specified timelines required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts and Basic Life Support certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer into department.
• De-escalation certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into department.
• PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer into department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate all nursing care for patients and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Triage and provide care for emergency and non-urgent patients as needed.
