Job summary

Orlando Health Emergency Room – Waterford Lakes is expanding its ED nursing team to meet community needs. The FSED operates 24/7 with on-site imaging, respiratory therapy, and full-service labs, backed by Orlando Health’s commitment to benefits from day one.

Night shifts are available for full-time positions (7 pm–7 am) at 11898 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32825. Eligible for retirement, education assistance, parental leave, and more while delivering high-level acute care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license; BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS.
1 year of recent RN ER/ED experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
Utilizes information to anticipate and respond to changing patient conditions.
Identifies and prioritizes information to take immediate, evidence-based actions.
Monitors equipment and interprets cardiac and patient-monitor displays.
Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol.
Documents patient care meeting regulatory standards, including assessment, education, medications, treatments, and safety.
