Job summary
UCHealth's Medical Center of the Rockies Emergency Department in Loveland seeks an experienced RN for a full-time night shift in a Level I trauma setting. The role emphasizes fast-paced, high-acuity care and trauma-informed practices.
You will provide direct nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing education and clinical ladder opportunities tied to exceptional patient outcomes. On-site only, with strong recovery and growth support.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- State licensure as an RN
- ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
- TNCC/ATCN and ENPC within 1 year of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course required
- BLS through AHA or Red Cross with card in hand before start date
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process at a Level I Trauma Center
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality outcomes
- Precept and mentor new staff and students
- Support emergency care across trauma, stroke, cardiac and behavioral health cases
- Maintain trauma-informed, compassionate care and evidence-based practice
