Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister, California is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care to patients across all ages in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum one year of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required department competencies and orientation.
• Basic computer skills; triage experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to patients across all age groups and levels of acuity.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor patient response.
• Perform cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring and recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Assist physicians with emergency procedures and provide care during critical and emergent situations.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, pain management, and ongoing care.
• Coordinate and communicate patient care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and participate in performance improvement activities.
