Job summary

Advocate Health’s Union Emergency Department in Waxhaw, North Carolina seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for PRN night shifts. The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, collaborating with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
