Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on the mid shift (3:00 PM–3:00 AM). You will provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with urgent medical needs in a fast-paced ED.

You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes, while upholding nursing standards. This role offers opportunities for growth within the UHS network.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• ALS, PALS and NIH Stroke Scale required within six (6) months of employment in Emergency Department.
• NRP is preferred, but not required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and PEARS are encouraged within two (2) years of hire.
• Two to three years' experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, or Emergency Medical Services preferred.
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM/De-Escalation) completed within six (6) months of hire.

• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes

• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment
