Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support Provider certification within 60 days; MOAB/HERT and specialized certifications as required by campus.
• Iowa RN licensure or eligible; OB/GYN, ER, or trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition and document results.
• Administer medications per six rights and hospital policy.
• Provide patient and family education and advocate for patient rights.
• Coordinate care with health-team members and discharge planning.
• Document nursing process accurately using PCS and standard terminology.
