Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Lavonia, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The RN will work in a collaborative environment to deliver evidence-based patient care and participate in an interdisciplinary team focused on treating the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Refresher course completed within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior nursing experience in the ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify care plans.
• Perform complex patient-care procedures within RN scope of practice.
• Collaborate with Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care using nursing process, environment/technology, and teamwork.
• Deliver patient care via therapeutic use of self and established standards.
