Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department on a 12-hour night shift (FT 0.9 FTE). You will deliver high-quality patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 4-year/bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN license active in the appropriate state; reinstatement guidance if inactive within 1 year of refresher course.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and perform IVs, dressing changes, and routine nursing tasks.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Respond promptly in critical situations, providing CPR and rapid response as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.

Skills

Acute care experience

BLS/CPR certified

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
