Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
If RN license inactive for 5+ years, refresher course required before reinstatement.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates strong assessment skills to uncover the patient’s story, integrate data, and determine care needs.
Collaborates with patients and families to identify priorities and integrate preferences into care plans.
Acts as a patient advocate while implementing the interdisciplinary care plan and educating patients.
Administers and evaluates medications and provides routine nursing care, handling CPR and transfers as needed.
Continuously assesses patient progress and adjusts the plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
