Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department night shift. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The orientation program supports transition and ongoing professional development. Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree, active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least one year of acute nursing experience; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans.
• Administer medications and provide routine nursing care (IVs, dressings, etc.).
• Respond promptly in critical situations and participate in CPR when needed.
• Ensure safe transfers and proper use of equipment as required.
