Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care, educate patients and families, and facilitate safe transitions of care in a Magnet-accredited, comprehensive stroke center environment.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required; prior EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking abilities.
• Current RN license in Arizona and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families and manage transitions of care.
• Support nursing practice across settings following Mayo Clinic model.
• Lead quality improvement efforts and mentor staff.
