AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer treatments per physician orders. You will educate patients and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN licensure, and strong English communication skills. Compensation reflects urgent needs and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills).
• Basic computer skills - must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs.
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes in the medical record.
