Job summary

You will perform comprehensive assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, BLS certification, and 1+ year acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (Required).
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
• Document patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
• Monitor care effectiveness and adjust plans for positive outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise care provided by team members and delegate tasks.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
