Job summary

Huron Regional Medical Center in Michigan seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The RN provides direct patient care, communicates with patients and families, and coordinates a care plan with the health team during each shift.

The position requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS or ENPC/TNCC within six months of hire. It features 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC required within 6 months.
• Proficiency in the assigned clinical area within six months after orientation.
• Cross training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care for individual clients and families.
• Coordinates client care with the health team and documents care plans.
• Maintains infection control and confidentiality of patient information.
• Participates in hospital quality, risk, and utilization plans; communicates openly with team.
• Demonstrates professional communication with patients, families, and physicians.
