Job summary

ChristianaCare, Newark Campus, is seeking experienced RNs to join a paid Emergency Department Fellowship Track. This program prepares RNs with 1 year+ Med/Surg or Step Down experience for a transition into the Emergency Department.

The fellowship combines didactic training, hands-on clinical rotations in trauma bays and ED pods, mentorship from ED nurses, and opportunities to obtain ACLS, PALS, TNCC during orientation.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or Stepdown experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking and self-motivation.
• Flexible to manage a high volume of patients in a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ED patients in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center.
• Demonstrate professional growth through didactic and hands-on training during fellowship.
