Job summary

Conway Regional Health System is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join a team of physicians, nurses, and support staff in a Level III Trauma Center. The ED RN will assess, triage, and manage care for traumatically injured and critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires AR RN licensure with BSN preferred; certification is advantageous, along with completion of the Medication Administration Exam. Safety-sensitive position within CRHS.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current Arkansas license.
• BSN preferred; obtain BSN within 4 years if RN with less than 1 year experience.
• Certification preferred.
• Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education; completion of Medication Administration Exam.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor a wide array of health conditions and injuries.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as moderate sedation, intraosseous and intravascular therapy, and CPR.
• Provide care for a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain effective communication with the health care team, patients, and families.
