Job summary

Conway Medical Center in Socastee, South Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, start IVs, administer medications, monitor patients, and support trauma and critical care cases.

Experience in ED and acute care is preferred, with potential leadership responsibilities as needed. Applicants should have a BSN preferred, require SC licensure, BLS, and be prepared to obtain ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSN) in Nursing preferred.
• Two (2) years acute care experience preferred.
• One (1) year Emergency Department experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department per physician orders and policies.
• Start or check IVs and administer medications.
• Monitor vital signs and manage trauma or critical care patients.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other care staff as needed.
• May act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients.
