Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and care teams.

You will use nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage to advocate for patients and families, ensuring safety and positive outcomes. The role requires current RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS or equivalent, and TNCC/Trauma competency within specified timelines; prior clinical experience is valued

Qualifications

• Active RN license required within the state of employment.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS required or able to obtain; TNCC/Trauma certification preferred.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform and document patient care per standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with the care team.
• Assess and manage patient pain, interventions, and documentation in medical records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
