Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the fast-paced Emergency Department at St. Michael Medical Center.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care, perform critical assessments, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires WA RN licensure, BLS CPR at hire, and timely completion of ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC per hire timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• New graduates or RNs without E.D. or Critical Care experience AND successful completion of the E.D. Residency Program.
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire
• Basic Life Support (AHA) - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 60 Days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 - months of hire
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 - months of hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months of hire

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency care.
• Perform accurate assessments and skilled procedures.
• Implement and document patient care plans; coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Prepare patients for discharge and arrange post-discharge needs.
• Adhere to safety, risk management, and regulatory standards.
• Support rapid assessment and treatment in a fast-paced ED.
