Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and evaluates outcomes to ensure optimal patient care.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy.
• Monitors hemodynamic status and interprets results; identifies dysrhythmias and treats.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation of histories, treatments and changes.
• Gives patient and family education and involves them in the care plan.
• Interacts with patients and families to provide age-appropriate care across lifespan.
• Assists physicians with ED procedures and supports performance improvement initiatives.
