Job summary

Sutter Lakeside Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care in an acute ED setting. You will educate patients and families, coordinate transitions of care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS within 90 days. Typical shifts are days, full-time, with a 36-hour work week and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience in Emergency Department.
• RN-Registered Nurse license for the state of care.
• BLS Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• NIHSS National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nursing care in an acute setting.
• Provide patient/family education and transitions of care.
• Develop and coordinate a plan of care addressing psychosocial and lifestyle factors.
• Maintain collaboration with patients, families, physicians and healthcare team, with timely communication.
• Ensure privacy of patient PHI and adhere to regulatory standards.
