Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an RN to deliver comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with the health care team. The RN will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate discharge planning with hospital departments and community agencies.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate with Oregon RN licensure, and completion of required certifications within specified timeframes. BLS/ACLS and PALS/ENPC are expected as per policy.

Qualifications

• RN experience with clinical judgment in patient care.
• Ability to coordinate care across disciplines.
• Proficient in medication administration and EMR documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with ED workflows and nursing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate discharge planning with hospital departments and community services.
• Implement physician orders and nursing protocols; deliver care per policy.
