Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Oregon is seeking a registered nurse in the Emergency Department to provide expert nursing care under supervision, using clinical judgment to assess and treat health problems and coordinate care with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) months of RN experience minimum.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or completion of Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship in the ED.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments and discharge planning.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans sensitive to patient needs.
• Delegate and implement physician orders and care plans.
• Document care in the EMR and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and coordinate with other departments.
