Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and formulate nursing diagnosis.
• Develop and update written nursing plan of care.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments.
• Initiate appropriate emergency procedures and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Delegate and coordinate duties of ancillary personnel.
• Educate patient and family and document in the medical record.
• Participate in Nurse Residency Program and GBMC quality initiatives.
