Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join Baptist Medical Center South on the second shift. This regular full-time position focuses on supervision and coordination of nursing staff on shift, weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.

The RN will use the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning and interventions, collaborate with physicians and other clinicians, and may be assigned additional duties within the scope of the

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role.
