Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Expansion RN on a full-time basis. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality patient care.

Collaboration with physicians and clinicians is required to plan and implement care and to maintain safety and service continuity. Required is a nursing degree with active RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC certifications may be needed depending on the department.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• BSN degree preferred depending on area.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing activities on shift, including weekends/holidays.
• Use nursing process for patient assessments, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians for patient care planning.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care and safety.
